Pederson says Vaitai might replace Johnson at RT

Eagles coach Doug Pederson confirmed an ESPN report that the Eagles are considering using rookie fifth-round pick Halapoulivaati Vaitai at right tackle if/when Lane Johnson’s 10-game PED suspension kicks in.

Previously, Pederson had said the Eagles were going to slide left guard Allen Barbre over to right tackle to replace Johnson and plug in veteran Stefen Wisniewski at left guard.
